World Design Rankings: China on top of the design game
Time to see which country dominated this year’s World Design Rankings! The WDR essentially assign a country's ranking according to the quantity of designers who have received the esteemed A' Design Award, representing a nation's collective dedication to design innovation in addition to individual accomplishments.
The World Design Rankings, or WDR, seeks to promote and elevate excellent design, therefore advancing global design culture, and give journalists and economists access to more information and perspectives on the state-of-the-art in the design business.
By looking at this year’s ranking we can see that China is on top of the game - for another year in a row - with an extraordinary total of 4562 awards! In second place you will find the USA with 1434 awards, followed by Japan, Italy and Hong Kong for the Top 5 of the most awarded countries.
