Party time with AIGA NY as it turns 40
To celebrate 40 years in the service of the New York design community AIGA NY throws a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
In collaboration with NYCxDESIGN, the AIGA NY Board of Directors aims to bring together the city’s design community with a party on the 9th of June.
A silent auction of sought-after design ephemera donated by some of NYC’s design luminaries will take place during the evening with all proceeds going towards “supporting AIGA NY’s mission to champion the future of design for all.”
AIGA NY is a small non-profit run by a volunteer board of directors and one full-time staff member.
“AIGA has been advancing the value of design for over 100 years through member resources and as the collective voice of the profession. The New York Chapter is the forum for the ideas of graphic designers in the metro area” notes AIGA NY which depends on the help and goodwill of volunteers to carry out a calendar of about 70 events per year, in addition to the Mentoring Program and other NY chapter initiatives.
Giving back to your community is something to embrace -after all, all we have is each other.
Be part of the celebration here.
