Isabel Zoulinaki's Process Journal - Innovation from Tradition
"This is my personal process journal concerning the second stage research project at the Glasgow School of Art. During this design innovation research we were asked to understand and challenge existing preconceptions, models and assumptions surrounding tradition, and to develop alternative ways of representing communal associations, identities and shared working practices in the context of Scotland," says Isabel Zoulinaki.
"The purpose of this project is to understand the relationship between tradition and innovation; lived experience and preferable futures. Another fundamental aim is to consider how design research approaches can help to reconfigure ways of being, working or living. How can resources, history and social bonds be mobilised within a framework of opportunities and challenges."
