Ioannis Fetanis designs a typographic only artists' residency book
"This book was published on the occasion of a four- day artist residency program in the village Isternia of Tinos, in May 2017. Sixteen artists were invited by Sterna Fringe Festival to photograph Tinos island. Eleni Mouzakiti and Lambros Papanikolatos supported the artists by offering one-on-one mentoring sessions and supervision throughout the residency," says, Athens based graphic designer, Ioannis Fetanis.
Born in Athens, Ioannis Fetanis studied graphic design at the Athenian Artistic and Technological Group where in 2004 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. He completed his studies in 2007 by obtaining a MA in Strategic Design & Visual Communication from Middlesex University, London.
He is now working as a graphic designer for Parachute Typefoundry whilst at the same time enjoys being active in groups with interests and actions in social fields such as Creative Action Network(USA), TEDx, 57th TIFF, as well as taking part in political communication projects. His endless creativity, guides him to participate frequently in graphic design exhibitions and biennales all over the world.
