Typographic posters inspired by the genius of Kepler
When Johannes Kepler was born in the late sixteenth century, scientists believed that planets in the solar system traveled in circular orbits around the Earth. A myth that the German mathematician, astronomer and astrologist not only adamantly opposed, he also revealed that planets orbit the sun in not perfect circles. His descriptions of planetary motions became known as Kepler’s laws and this is just one highlight of his legacy. Buenos Aires-based Sato pays tribute to this key figure in the 17th century scientific in the second installment of his poster series Cosmos. Check more of his typographic universe here.
