South Korean typography has never intrigued us that much. Till now!
Seoul-based Shin Dokho’s portfolio of work is intriguing. As he puts together lettering and layouts in delightful, all cleverly connected and attractive color ways and shapes he proves himself a master of minimalism who manipulates those design elements that evince his ability to rule.
Shin Dokho graduated from the Visual Communication Design Department of Dankook University in 2012 and since then he exemplifies a distinct style of expression, his experimental typography evokes “both texture and movement”.
Dokho works as a graphic designer and enjoys working with many collaborators based on typography (recent works include the Chernobyl Dark Tourism, Library Independent Publication Reading Room, Mysteria). Additionally he also has an extensive list of project work in identity design and book design. Explore his craftsmanship here.
