Lukasz A. Pachalko is breaking the barriers of typography for a reason
Polish graphic designer Lukasz A. Pachalko is a man on a mission. When he designed his superb newspaper format he wanted to explore the ways of how a conventional printed medium can be restyled in an effort to make it extra readable, engaging and aggressive to digital editions. “Giant and dynamic photographs associated to essential articles, knowledge visualization and illustrations assist in higher understanding the content material and stress a visible communication position in the present day’s newspaper design” he says. But it his Master’s thesis which addresses dyslexia that really took Internet by storm. A tribute to Polish typography this project, consisting of a guidebook, posters, famous dyslexics, infographic, illustrations of common dyslexic errors and diagnostic tests “stresses the issue, explains it and intends to be a support for people with dyslexia”.
